Wall-E

This is a great song. Who let this happen to the Earth though? Like everyone was sitting in trash as high as skyscrapers and acting very nonchalant about it. Those people in the commercial, are real life people with cheekbones and knees, which is an interesting choice.

The dilemma with the fork is so cute. Wall-E has feelings and a really sincere personality for a robot. Aren't robots not supposed to have feelings? He's rocking himself to sleep for crying out loud. He has a pet cockroach. He stepped on it and then screamed when he thought it died! My heart is so happy.

EVE just tried to kill Wall-E. She was flying around all sweet and graceful and then she became an assassin. Plus she just scanned him and kept it moving like an unbothered queen bee.

He has someone to share all of his things with! They understand the concept of clapping. This is the type of relationship that saves the world.

Is there an ongoing conversation that Disney should be scientifically accurate as well as historically accurate? Because that robot should have fallen apart upon exiting the atmosphere. I'm here for the scientific discourse.

Ewww humans are being rude and unnecessary? Why is he talking to the man right next to him? The babies are being brainwashed. Why? No one's at work, why aren't they raising their babies/ The babies are learning BynLarge for the letter B. They're all really nice humans though. They're just... all idiots. He just rewound the day, to morning time. They have no control over their lives? The captain is the highest function idiot and he does nothing.

Is this scene supposed to show everything that's wrong with robots? Because that's terrible. They're like outcasts, mentally ill. It's a prison break!

I love how EVA sporadically says "Wall-E!" in a nagging and irritated tone. I love keeping up with standard gender roles. Even with robots. It's very progressive you know? Like all the mandatory love scenes between two robots. Wonderful.

"I don't want to survive, I want to live!" Yes, the humans may have screwed up the world, but there children 700 years later are working with robots to fix it.

Wall-E is king of the rogue robots and I love loyalty so much. The captain is having bright ideas. All the humans are catching each other. John and Mary are doing great things to help the cause.

Uhm there's still all this trash everywhere? But I guess that's a happy ending.
