The Pumpkin Spice Latte is now on the rampage, a clear sign of fall. So, I decided to watch Mickey's House of Villains with my three year old sister top celebrate the upcoming Halloween season.
First things first, there are a lot of murderers in this room. Like, I don't want to sit next to Scar for personal reasons, you feel? Or any of the other unsuccessful and equally vile people, and animals, in Mickey's audience for that matter.
A quick peak of the OG queens of evil in their rightfully earned front row seats. They don't have quite as big as a part in this show. Probably because they're not funny enough, or at all.
Cruella and Hook look like a married couple in this shot. An evil and dangerous couple, but a couple nonetheless.
Donald and Goofy just died? Died. Right there on screen. That just happened. That has nothing to do with villainy, but what kind of cruel animator kills a duck and his best friend?
This is not my own photo. But this witch is very important. This witch sees Donald Duck picking on his three nephews, who are each dressed as ghosts and goblins, and mistakes them for three baby monsters. She then proceeds to use her magic to kick Donald's rump, and get the boys their Halloween candy. At the end of this short, my three year old sister turned and looked up at me. "That's a good witch?" she asked. And I said yes, that is a good witch. And in that moment this little animated witch taught me that even before we learn to write our last name or say the ABCs backwards, we understand that being evil is not always what you are, most of the time, its what you do.
