Disney for the Holidays

All Hollow's Eve is Nigh!

This does not only mean televised reruns and live public screenings of Disney Channel's most iconic Halloween originals: Halloweentown, Hocus Pocus, Don't Look Under the Bed, The Nightmare Before Christmas (the nostalgia is dripping right from the screen) it also means our favorite Christmas specials are right around the corner.

Now, I fully acknowledge everyone doesn't celebrate the holidays, but this chick does and not only will I be watching every single Halloween classic to touch the screen (shout out to John Carpenter) and hanging ornaments from every tangible surface, I'll be doing it with Disney.

Do you know how many times I've seen Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas? Because it doesn't matter, I'm going to watch it a solid twelve more times before New Year's Eve. I've never ice skated before, but I sure as hell know that that's what you do when it's Christmas time and I'm going to watch two animated mice and a couple ducks ice skate in the Christmas spirit.

This post has no deep, icky anti Mickey feelings, and I hope that after I watch all of my holiday specials I'll agree. Disney only perpetuates sexist, racist, politically incorrect, and socially insensitive ideas in Princess movies right?
